Busy Weekend for the 6-5 House

Station 6-7 requested the Advanced Team from the Collapse Team to assist with a vehicle into a commerical building during Saturday morning. They assisted with building assessment until a building contractor arrived.

A Vehicle Accident at Millersville and Millersville. Rescue 6-5 and Engine 6-5-4 responded. Crews were on scene less then 30 minutes.

Later in the afternoon the Station was dispatched for a reported Gas Leak in the Manor Oaks Development. Again Rescue 6-5 and Engine 6-5-4 Responded. Crews cleared within 30 minutes.

During Friday and Saturday, Chief 6-5 was on loan to the 6-2 House (Highville). He assisted at the Unified Command Post for the search / water rescue during both days, looking for a missing boater. Also during the search, Squad 6-5-2 on Saturday provided manpower.

Sunday morning the house was dispatched to Shenks Hall for an Auto Alarm. Crews arrived to find a tripped smoke detector on the first floor from a shower. Crews cleared shortly.
