Five Call July 4th Holiday Weekend

Engine 6-5-4 and Rescue 65 were sent to the Shadowstone North Area for reported alarm bells sounding. After searching the neighborhood with the Police Depart, crews found nothing and cleared.

Engine 6-5-4 and the Rescue were sent to the Lancaster Emergency Medical Services Assoc building for an Automatic Fire Alarm. The alarm was caused by workman working in the building. Chief 6-5 cleared the assignment shortly after arriving.

Engine 6-5-4 was dispatched to the Woods Edge Development for a reported dwelling fire in Station 6-8' first due. Truck 6-7 arrived to find vegetation burning outside. The dwelling assignment was recalled. Engine 6-8 and Truck 6-7 handled the run.

The Collapse Team assisted Station 6-4 with a shoring job. Colapse 1, Collapse 2, and Rescue 6-5 responded with 18. (see other article)

An Automatic Alarm discovers a problem at Student Lodging. An air conditioner drain floods smoke detector on the second floor. Crews notified the building owner and cleared shortly afterward.
