NFPA 1006 Rescue Certification continues at the 6-5 house; through the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center.

1006 Core, Vehicle Machinery, Confined Space, Building Collapse, Trench, and Rope make up the whole program. Written and practical testing at each area.

Two - 15 member teams are working their way through the NFPA 1006 Certification process here at Millersville. One of the groups finished their Building Collapse Certification this weekend at the concrete pile at the Lancaster County Fireman's Assocation's Training School.

This group started a 10 week prep class weeks ago, leading to the written and practical testing. Building rakers, shores, lifting and moving concrete, concrete cutting, torch work, victim access and packaging, building marking sytems, building idenification make up just part of the testing process.

Thanks to the Lancaster Co Fireman's Association and Bucks County Public Safety Training Center for this program.

A special thanks to Gochnauer's Appliances,Terre Hill Concrete, and Moul Enterprises
