Early Thanksgiving Day Collapse 1 was requested to assist Station 5-10 with a vehicle into a dwelling on West Main St - Strasburg Borough. The vehicle upon impact damaged over 16 feet of a supporting wall to the dwelling.

Engine 5-10 arrived to find quite a bit of damage to the C/D corner of the dwelling. Command 5-10 requested that a Rapid Assessment Team member to respond and assist with the building evaluation;Task Force Leader Eshleman responded. Collapse 1 was added to the assignment for additional equipment. The Task Force Squad built a vertical shore in the basement division to support most of the floor load in that section of the dwelling. They cleared in under two hours.
