First off, we would like to thank you for showing interest in our department. If you need anything, feel free to contact us. We run about 360 calls a year, and provide assistance to the residents of Millersville Borough, Millersville University, and parts of Manor Township. We also run a collapse unit that responds all over the county, and beyond. Even if you have never tried this before, we are a great place to learn new skills.
The first step in becoming a active (fire fighter) member at Millersville Fire Company is to print this application (click here). Fill it out, and remember to get the last page notarized. We can help when you return the application to us with the notorization.
If you would like to be an associate member (non-fire fighter), please call the firehouse, and someone would be glad to assist you.
If you are under 18, and older than 16, we would be glad to accept you as a junior member, which offers many opportunities for training. Please fill out this application (click here)
If you would rather be a Fire Police, fill out this application (click here) and follow the process here.
Once you have it filled out, come to a meeting night. Our business meetings are held at the firehouse the second Tuesday of each month, and start at 7:30 pm. Our firehouse is located at 26 East Charlotte St. in Millersville PA.
At that meeting, you will be introduced to the membership, and your application will be officially handed in for processing. This process takes about a month, and at the next meeting, we have a second reading, and vote to accept you.
At this point, you are a probationary member of the Fire Department. This will last for 6 months, during which you may respond to calls, train with us, and become familiar with our department.
Once again, thank you for your interest in the Millersville Fire Company, and if you have any questions, concerns, or problems, feel free to contact us by calling our station, and leave a voice message at (717) 872-9345.
