Dryer Fire in the Georgetown Hills Area

Engine 6-5-4

Crews were dispatched to the 1000 Blk of Monticello Drive for a dryer fire. Chief 6-5 arrived with smoke showing from the A and C Sides of the dwelling. Crews from Engine 4 pulled two lines to the basement while the Truck crew from 6-7 used a can to knock the fire. Crews were on the scene an additional 45 minutes mopping up with ventilation and removal of the dryer unit.

Units on the scene were Engine 6-5-4, Engine 6-5-3, Rescue 6-5, Engine 6-8-1, Engine 6-6-1, Truck 6-7 and EMS 6-12-5 responded.
