Rescue 6-5

Rescue 6-5 is a 2006 Pierce heavy rescue.  Rescue 6-5 is typically our most called upon piece each year. With seating for 14 firefighters; the unit is heated and air conditioned.

This heavy rescue has an assorted amount of hand tools, air tools, confined space rescue equipment, Amkus vehicle rescue equipment, and rappelling equipment. Rescue 6-5 is also equipped with two generators, a high output air compressor, two light towers and a four bottle cylinder cascade system.

The unit provides rescue support for many mutual aid companies. Additionally, it is also a support vehicle for the Collapse Team on all their missions.
